Wow! Great pics! I've tried some time ago to generate pics like these, but the results were abysmal. What AI have you used? ChatGPT? Probably you want to keep the complete prompts for yourself, but could you give us just some hints on the prompt one should use? Say, for the second pic, which features just a woman.

Also, are they generated completely from scratch, or have you given it a real image on which to base them on?

I used Chat GBT and a lot of patience..there were a lot of duds. I posted something to the effect of “The year is 1974, a woman is in a car and she is stalled at an intersection. She is trying to start her old car and is blocking traffic. She is dressed like a secretary on her way to work, and she has her children in the car. She is worried because her car won’t start and she is blocking traffic.” Then I kept fixing it. The best were posted, it soon went off the rails and could not be fixed, so I deleted it from memory and will try again. I find sometimes that helps it. I wanted to let you know so you could share yours as well! Have fun and post the best here if you like. I’m always thinking of you guys-I miss this place!

"A lot of patience, a lot of duds"... totally agreed. Instead of the illustration-like avatars, once I started using perchance.org for photo-like pictures of the women in my fictional PP stories, I got "a lot of duds" clicking the "Generate" button... "a lot" to come upon a result that I liked. And, those first two pics here, Mom's going to get T-boned if she doesn't move her VW Bug once the other direction gets the green light!

AI keeps getting better, but it takes a lot of patience. I've been trying to create a picture of a coworker I last saw in 1998 using just my memory and descriptive words at https://perchance.org/ai-photo-generator . One thing I overlooked was trying to create an image of her actually in a car starting it. The thought hadn't crossed my mind until now, seeing this thread and what's possible. I'm still not fully satisfied with the images so far, they're close but not exact. Several years back, my parents brought over a box of stuff left behind in the basement when I moved out. In it among other things was a card from that lady signed "keep in touch," an instruction I have come to regret not heeding. After trying to look her up in the hopes of reconnecting, I discovered she moved out of state then sadly passed away in the early 2000s.
